Marine fuel in every port on your voyage.

We are a bunker broker and trader. We do not own barges — we buy from suppliers we have checked, in the ports you are going to, and approved customers can pay later.

What we supply

What we supply, and how much notice we need.

VLSFO

0.50 %

The standard fuel everywhere outside an Emission Control Area.

LSMGO

0.10 %

For Emission Control Areas. Delivered by barge or truck.

Why this matters

Fuel is usually the biggest cost of the voyage.

A missed order, a port changed at the last minute, or a supplier who will not give you credit — any of these makes a planned voyage expensive. We agree the supplier and the payment terms before the ship sails.

For ships with scrubbers fitted.

One company to deal with

One contract and one contact for every port on the voyage.

Most buyers have accounts in three or four ports and avoid the others. We order the fuel from a supplier we have checked in the port you are going to, so the port stops deciding your route.

Fuels we quote

Eight grades, not just the three everyone lists.

Petroleum grades to ISO 8217. Alternative fuels are quoted subject to port and supplier availability.

Container lines and bulk operators going to EU ports increasingly ask for blends instead of a single grade. Two EU rules are the reason: FuelEU Maritime measures the emissions of the fuel you actually burn, and the Emissions Trading System charges you for the rest. Tell us the target you need to hit and we will quote against it.

Enquiry to delivery

How a stem works with us.

01

Enquiry

Vessel, IMO number, port, ETA, grade and quantity. Six lines in an email are enough for us to price it.

02

Firm offer

Price, delivery window, barge or pipeline, payment terms. Valid until a stated time, not forever.

03

Nomination

You confirm, we place the order with the supplier and send the delivery details to the ship and the agent.

04

Delivery & BDN

The supplier delivers alongside the ship and hands over the Bunker Delivery Note, as MARPOL Annex VI requires.

How much notice we need

At short notice fewer suppliers bid for your order, and the price shows it. Most ships order seven working days ahead; since the switch to VLSFO the average is about eight and a half days.

Send an enquiry

This is all we need to quote you.

Fuel prices move during the day, so an offer is only good for a stated time. Your enquiry goes to a person who can price it, not into a shared inbox. You get a firm price with a deadline, or a plain answer that we cannot cover that port.

Goes straight to us. We use it only to price your order.
